R-6 students offered healthier meal options

SIKESTON -- Students at Lee Hunter Elementary were the first on Wednesday to sample the new mini salad bars which will be used at all of the elementary by the school year's end.

Trinity Land, first grader, was one of many students who opted for a salad to go with their regular lunch. It wasn't her first salad bar either. She plopped the veggies on her tray.
