Club hosting talent event

CHARLESTON -- No one can pinpoint what it is, but there's something about the Charleston Kiwanis Club Annual Talent Show that makes it a hit. And organizers expect the 45th performance, set for Friday, to be no different.

"From what I can deduce from talking to talent coaches from around the area and dance studios, they apparently really like this show, and the young performers do, too," said Brett Matthews, chairman of the show. "They say it's been very well-run, and they like the venue."
