ORAN -- The Oran Lady Eagles played Tuesday afternoon's softball game with two different purposes. The first, was to win their contest against the visiting St. Vincent Lady Indians. The second, was to play in memory of a close friend who would've been on the diamond on opening day.

Oran head coach Sara Heisserer said she felt like her team was playing with a lot of emotion and pride in remembrance of Alexis 'Lexi' Cummins who passed away during the summer break.
