Cooter baseball wins two games over the weekend

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Several local volleyball squads competed in the SEMO Spike Volleyball Invitational over the weekend.

Fall Baseball

COOTER-- The Cooter Wildcats picked up two wins over the weekend in fall baseball.

Cooter 11 Neelyville 7

Jonathan Boone pitched a strong game to lead Cooter over Neelyville, who committed five errors in the loss.

Cooter 2 Twin Rivers 1

After beating previously undefeated Seanth earlier in the week, the Wildcats

knocked off undefeated Twin Rivers Saturday.

South Pemiscot 8 Cooter 4

Cooter fell behind 5-3 early and could not recover against Bulldog ace Tyler

Thompson, who struck out 17 Wildcats.
