Teen nutrition program created in Scott County

SIKESTON -- The Scott County Health Department will begin addressing the county's obesity problem.

Stacey Dame, a social worker for the county health department, said the study of obesity and a plan "to prevent and reduce obesity in children, adolescents and women" are a requirement of the Maternal Child Health contract with Missouri Department of Health.
