CAPE GIRARDEAU - A St. Louis man who took part in a mortgage fraud scheme involving the sale of residential real estate in Sikeston will spend 11 years in federal prison.
Russell Todd McBride of Creve Coeur was sentenced Monday to 135 months on a 34-count indictment for his involvement in the scheme and turned over to the custody of the United States Marshals to begin serving his sentence, according to a news release Acting United States Attorney Michael W. Reap.
