SIKESTON -- Thanks to a bountiful harvest of generosity, fewer Southeast Missouri residents will go hungry.
Roger Woolsey, volunteer coordinator/pantry manager, noted the economic downturn has really impacted the area, and the need for food is arising. Saturday's Scouting for Food drive brought in 9,240 pounds which will be distributed to local families in need.
