SIKESTON -- Law enforcement was out in full force doing some "spring cleaning" Tuesday morning, arresting subjects for a variety of warrants. Twenty-one Scott County warrants, the majority for drugs, were executed beginning just after 6 a.m., with all suspects in custody -- some already at other facilities -- just after 8 a.m. With additional arrests, a total 25 individuals were taken into custody...

Detective Bobby Sullivan of the Sikeston Department of Public Safety carries a sawed-off shotgun, an illegal firearm, from a residence at 840 Ruth, apartment B, as part of a warrant roundup Tuesday morning. While the man in possession of the gun was not on the warrant list, officers found the weapon during their search and took him into custody. Twenty-one warrants were executed early Tuesday morning, and the operation resulted in 25 arrests.
