Using caution with fireworks can ensure a fun and safe holiday

SIKESTON -- Fireworks are part of many families' Fourth of July celebration, and local officials remind them to exercise caution if shooting their own displays this holiday.

"It's always a fun time to be shooting fireworks and a way to celebrate the birth of our country, but you should always be safe, too," said Gavin May, manager of May Brothers Fireworks in Miner.
