SIKESTON -- Box seats for three of the four nights of the 58th Annual Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo may be sold out, but tickets remain for each night of the event.
"A lot of people think the night featuring Lynyrd Skynyrd is sold out, but it's not," said Cal Crader, general co-chair. "We are sold out of box seats for Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights, but we still have plenty of good bleacher seats for all four nights."
Set for Aug. 11-14, entertainment at this year's rodeo are: Lynyrd Skynyrd, Wednesday; Tracy Lawrence, Thursday; Jamey Johnson, Friday; and Gretchen Wilson, Saturday.
Justin Wibbenmeyer, general chairman of the 2010 rodeo, said he's not exactly sure why ticket sales are booming right now.
"Hurry up and buy tickets now because they are selling like crazy," Wibbenmeyer said.
