Engineer firm hired to aid in search for new energy service contractor

SIKESTON -- Sikeston R-6 officials are taking steps to save money by making the district as energy efficient as possible.

During its regular meeting Tuesday the Board of Education approved the employment of Allen & Hoshall in the amount of $71,000 for its contract assistance in securing an energy service contractor, or ESCO.
