BLODGETT-- Reality TV fans are in for a special treat as appearances by "Survivor" contestants are planned when Beggs Family Farm opens for its fall season next weekend.
"Pearl Islands" and "Heroes vs. Villains" winner Sandra Diaz-Twine along with "China" winner Todd Herzog and "Tocantins" castaway Spencer Duhm are scheduled to make an appearance Oct. 2 at the Scott County farm located off Highway U near Blodgett.
The farm will be open from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m., and "Survivor" stars will be present throughout the afternoon. Attendees will also have the opportunity to conquer the 12-acre corn maze designed to resemble the face of "Sassy Sandra (Diaz-Twine)."
Owner Donnie Beggs said it's possible at least one other former contestant of the CBS show may also make an appearance that day. A portion of the farm's opening day's admissions will go to the Kenny Rogers Children's Center in Sikeston.
