DELTA -- The Delta Lady Bobcats opened their spring softball season with a 16-0 win over Oak Ridge on Wednesday afternoon.
Delta's Myra Henson dominated the Oak Ridge hitters, allowing only one hit in three innings while striking out three and walking two.
Henson also doubled at the plate as did Chastity Taylor, as the Lady Bobcats had five hits on the day, taking advantage of several Oak Ridge walks.
Delta (1-0) will be back in action Friday when they travel to Greenville.
