Fishing clinic is planned for Aug. 20

KENNETT -- Missouri Bootheel Regional Consortium Inc. and the Fatherhood First Program will have their annual Fishing Clinic and Take a Kid Fishing Day from 9 a.m. until noon, followed by lunch until 1 p.m., on Aug. 20 at Combs Lake in Kennett.

Transportation will be provided at designated sites in Sikeston, Caruthersville, Hayti, Malden, Kennett, New Madrid and Charleston. There will be free t-shirts, free food, music and free fishing poles, while quantities last. Children must be accompanied by a parent, responsible party or an adult at all times.
