First day blues

It's a brand new world when youngsters walk thru the doors at the Sikeston Kindergarten Center. Opening day on Wednesday saw many youngsters wide-eyed and curious, others full of energy ready to tackle a new school year and a few not quite ready to give up the security of mom and dad (and a few moms and dads not quite ready to give up their child). As the school bell rang, teachers walked the youngsters to class and the beginning of a new school year.
