BENTON -- Irene Anne Sadler, 72, died Nov. 12, 2011, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born July 19, 1939 in Northampton, England, to Alfred and Pearline Hobbs Barker, she was a home care giver and a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 6407 of Scott City.

On Aug. 13, 1956, she married Albert Ray Sadler who preceded her in death on Sept. 13, 1992.

Also she was preceded in death by three sons, Steven John, Norman William and Fredrick Paul Sadler, and one sister and one brother.

Survivors include: two sons, Ronald Ray Sadler of Arab and Albert Wayne Sadler of Benton; two daughters, Pamela May Williams of Chaffee and Vicky Anne Eldridge of Rowlett, Texas; two sisters, Pauline Emmert of Baltimore, Md., and Margaret Carr of Naples, Fla.; and nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4 -8 p.m. Tuesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City where services are scheduled at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Ronald Ledbetter will officiate.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
