Michael Schlosser

ORAN -- Michael J. Schlosser, 56, died Nov. 18, 2011, at his home.

Born Sept. 19, 1955, in Cape Girardeau, son of the late John E. and Bertilla Catherine Steimle Schlosser, he was a maintenance man with Nestle Purina Pet Care Company in Bloomfield and a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Steimle.

He is survived by: two sons, Jason Schlosser and Michael Steimle of Oran; one daughter, Jessica Schlosser of Oran; two brothers, Andrew Schlosser of Oran and Daniel Schlosser of Chaffee; one sister, Marilyn Schlosser of Chaffee; a stepson, Jimmy Hargrove of Oran; a stepdaughter, Jody Hargrove of Oran; 10 grandchildren; and a special friend, Kathy Garner of Oran.

Visitation is scheduled after 4 p.m. Sunday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg with Michael Casteel as celebrant.

Burial will follow in the St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery in New Hamburg.
