Larry Johnson
ANNISTON -- Larry Johnson, 64, died Nov. 18, 2011, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Aug. 1, 1947, in Mississippi County, to the late Luther and Alma Marie Dyer Johnson, he lived in Mississippi County most of his life. He was a retired millwright and attended the New Beginnings Church in East Prairie.
He married Hazel Louise Taylor Johnson who preceded him in death.
Five brothers, Bob Johnson, Don Johnson, Roy Johnson, Jerry Johnson and Ricky Johnson, and one sister, Wanda Johnson, also preceded him in death.
Survivors include: two brothers, Jimmy Johnson of Sikeston and Wayne Johnson of East Prairie; three sisters, Mary Bard of Dogwood, Shirley Brown of Charleston and Carolyn Scott of East Prairie; and two stepgranddaughters.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie with Mike Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
Pallbearers will be: Dale Tatum Jr., Shawn Tatum, Jimmy Evans, Randy Cook, Sammy Scott and Randy Woods.
