CANALOU -- Larry J. Layne, 68, died Nov. 17, 2011.
Born Oct. 2, 1943, in Charleston, he married Patricia Pfifer who preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Layne.
Survivors include: four sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Betty Lou Layne, James Edward and Alice Jean Layne and Larry D. and Jeanie Layne of Lakeland, Fla., and Joseph and Elizabeth Layne of Canalou; two daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara Rivera of the state of Alabama and Granada and Kenneth Ellard of Lakeland; one sister, Joy Guthry; one brother, Richard Layne; and 21 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted Tuesday at the Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid.
