HERMANN -- Jewell Genevieve Sever, 90, died Dec. 28, 2011, at the Frene Valley Health Center Nursing Home in Hermann.
Born Oct. 21, 1921, in Huntsville, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Elizabeth Saville Hicken.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters, her husband, Dr. Benjamin Sever, in 1968; and her son, Dr. Mark Sever in 1993.
Survivors include: one sister, Helen; her daughter, Mary Kolbe of Hermann; and nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from noon until service time at 2 p.m. Friday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Gravesides services will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
