DYERSBURG -- The New Madrid County Central Eagles dropped their second game in the Dyersburg Christmas Tournament on Wednesday, falling 74-48 to Lausanne Collegiate out of Memphis.
Lausanne jumped out to a 23-13 lead after one quarter and led 38-30 at the break before pulling away in the second half.
NMCC (2-7) was led in scoring by Earl Grissom's 17 points while Darrin McGloson added 15.
The Eagles are back in action today at 11:30 p.m. in the seventh place game where they face the loser of Blytheville, Ark. and Tipton, Tenn. The results from that game were not known at press time.
