SIKESTON -- Doris Ann McDaniel, 66, of Sikeston, died Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, at her home.
Born April 26, 1945, in Poplar Bluff, to the late Dolivan Gene and Margaret Augusta Walker Roberts, she was employed for 13 years by Good Humor Breyer in Sikeston.
On March 3, 1962, in Sikeston, she married James Curtis McDaniel, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two daughters and one son-in-law, Kelley Dawn McDaniel and Stacey LeAnn and Tim Comstock of Dexter; one brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Wanda Douglas Roberts of Carmi, Ill.; and six grandchildren, Tim Ryan Comstock, Christopher Powell, Nathan McDaniel, Zachary Comstock, Jonathan Comstock and Madelyn McDaniel. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Quincy; and one sister, Melba Jean Arnold.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. Mitchell Jackson, pastor of Miner Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
