Sadye Scoles

SIKESTON -- Sadye Scoles, 97, died Feb. 8, 2012, at her home.

Born Feb. 27, 1914, in Bardwell, Ky., to the late George W. and Emily Jane Tinnon Dickerson, she retired from International Shoe Company and was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Sikeston.

On Feb. 10, 1947, in Sikeston, she married James W. Scoles who preceded her in death in 1986.

Three brothers and four sisters also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: a daughter, Darla Swartz of Sikeston; and three grandchildren, Chrysta Sevic of Lee Summit, Brandon Swartz of Independence and Jamie Swarts of Sikeston.

Visitation will be held from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Rick Lovall officiating.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
