NEW MADRID -- Bonnie McCain Boyd, 94, died Feb. 4, 2012, in Memphis, Tenn.
Born July 12, 1917, in Cullman County, Ala., to the late Abraham and Ola Upton McCain, she lived most of her life in New Madrid. She was a longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star and had worked at several businesses in New Madrid.
She is survived by: one daughter, Margaret Riley of Memphis; one son and daughter-in-law, John and Susan Ellis of Tecumseh, Mich.; one brother, John Lewis of Arlington, Va.; and four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted Saturday at the Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid with graveside services following in the Evergreen Cemetery.
