FARMINGTON -- The Sikeston Bulldogs wrestling team will be well represented at the state wrestling tournament this weekend after seven grapplers qualified for the Class 3 tournament.
Sikeston finished fourth as a team, compiling 112.5 points. The Bulldogs had four of their five senior wrestlers qualify for the state tournament.
Senior Blake Angle had Sikeston's best finish, placing second in the 120-pound division. Jacob Stinnett (132), Kenton Robinson (138), Nick Nichols (182) and Clayton Driskill (220) all placed third while Clay Porter (160) and Ben Walker (285) were fourth.
The Class 3 State Tournament will begin on Thursday at the Mizzou Arena in Columbia and conclude on Saturday.
