SIKESTON -- Joseph Lee "Lee Joe" Campbell, 90, died Feb. 13, 2012, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.

Born July 12, 1922, in Kennett, to the late Rube and Rowena Campbell, he was a retired Missouri Department of Transportation employee and a member of the First Assembly of God in Canalou.

On Sept. 12, 1940, he married Willia Marie Gillean who preceded him in death.

He was also preceded in death by one son, Donald Wayne Campbell, one son-in-law, Kenneth Stahl, and one brother, Raymond Campbell.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Leslie Gillean of Sikeston; two daughters and a son-in-law, Ellen and Paul of Sikeston and Jeanie Stahl of Arnold; three brothers, Junior Campbell, Frankie Campbell and Herb Campbell of Kennett; one sister, Helen Allen of Pargould, Ark.; and seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday with Mike Cartwright, pastor of the Canalou First Assembly of God Church, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Adam Gillean, Mark McElwain, Chris Bruce, Tim McCrow, Kyle McElwain and James Russom.
