ZALMA -- Janice Ward, 67, died Feb. 17, 2012, at her home. Born Sept. 30, 1944, at Naylor, to Edward and Jewell Gimlin French, she was a member of Dongola Friendship Baptist Church. ZALMA -- Janice Ward, 67, died Feb. 17, 2012, at her home.

Born Sept. 30, 1944, at Naylor, to Edward and Jewell Gimlin French, she was a member of Dongola Friendship Baptist Church. She had been a factory worker and also been employed with Walmart.

On Nov. 27, 1963, at Poplar Bluff, she married Lindel Ward who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: a son and daughter-in-law, Kindel and Candy Ward of Sikeston; a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Daniel Moore of Sikeston; four brothers, Dennis French, Daryl French and Carol French of Poplar Bluff and Larry French of Conway, Ark.; and three grandchildren, Andrew Ward, Grace Ward and Garrett Ward.

Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the Morgan Funeral Home in Advance where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Dan Overton officiating.

Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Hiram.
