CHARLESTON -- Ella Mildred Moore, 97, formerly of Houston, Texas, died March 5, 2012, at the East Prairie Nursing Center.

Born Dec. 6, 1914, on the Goodin farm in Mississippi County, to the late Charles and Maude Kidd Jackson, she was employed as a supervisor for Weingarten's Supermarket in Houston for over 30 years and was of the Baptist belief.

She first married Robert A. Cleveland who preceded her in death. She later married Gordon L. Moore who also preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death were two sons and one grandson.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Kirk and Nancy Cleveland of Kennesaw, Ga.; two sisters, Evelyn Sanders of Miner and Frances Slaten of Charleston; and five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until time of services at 6 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Kelley Grubbs, pastor of the Murray Lane Baptist Church of Sikeston, will officiate.

Committal services will be held at a later date at the Lawndale Forest Park Cemetery in Houston.
