Man accused of 'enticement' of a student

SIKESTON -- A Sikeston R-6 teacher faces charges of child enticement and sexual misconduct after sending inappropriate text messages to his teenage student.

Andrew J. Delles, 28, of Jackson is charged through Division II of Scott County Circuit Court with three counts of enticement of a child (unclassified felony) and three counts of sexual misconduct involving a child (class D felony), according to Lt. Jim McMillen, public information officer for DPS.

"These charges came about after the allegations and investigation of explicit photographs being sent to the victim and reports of inappropriate touching of the child," McMillen said.
