RISCO -- Risco's Chris Pavy went 4 for 5 with five RBI during Risco's 19-9 rout over visiting Southland on Monday at Risco High School in five innings.

Although the Tigers fell behind 8-3 at one point, the Tigers rallied for six runs in the bottom of the second to take the lead for good.

"We didn't look very good early. At all," Risco coach Brandon Blankenship said. "We got down, but we came back and played well after that. It was good to get our bats going for the long week we have ahead of us."

Risco, who is scheduled to play four more games this week, pounded out 16 hits, including two home runs.

Pavy led off the fifth inning with a solo home run while Caleb McCord, who went 2 for 4 with three RBI, smacked a two-run home run in the first inning.
