Mary Bostic
BLOOMFIElD -- Mary Bostic, 80, died April 9, 2012, at her son's home in Bloomfield.
Born July 10, 1931, in Kewanee, daughter of the late Willie and Lillian Henson Cox, she had worked at Elder's Manufacturing in Bloomfield as a presser and attended the Beech Grove General Baptist Church. She spent four years in California and the rest of her life in Bloomfield.
In Sikeston, she married Floyd Bostic who preceded her in death on April 14, 2002.
Surviving are: three sons, Dale Bostic and Farrell Bostic of Bloomfield and Darrell Bostic of Marble Hill; one sister, Frances Bostic of Bloomfield; and 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. today at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Gary Teel of Dexter will officiate.
Burial will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield.
