Eve Meador

PORTAGEVILLE -- Eve E. Meador, 81, died April 10, 2012, at the Golden Living Center in New Madrid.

Born July 29, 1930, in Steele, she was the daughter of the late Rosa Lee Riddick and Herbert Roscoe Hall.

On Sept. 16, 1950, in Truman, Ark., she married William A. Meador, who preceded her in death July 12, 1991.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Fourthman; two sons, Billy Meador and Terry Meador; one brother, Roscoe Buck Hall; one sister, Bonnie Harris; and four grandchildren.

Survivors include: two daughters, Virginia Faye Holder and Joyce Hampton of Portageville; one son, Jerry Meador of Portageville; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Becky Walls of Portageville.

Visitation is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. today at the DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville where services will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Charlie Thacker will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
