Terry Strickland

PUXICO -- Terry Glen Strickland, 59, died April 7, 2012, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Born Nov. 16, 1952, in Dexter, to the late John Marvin and Mildred Louise Teel Strickland, he had worked as a plumber and a truck driver. Before living the past four years in Puxico, he had lived in Gideon and Clarkton.

On May 12, 1996, in Dexter, he married Doris J. Holt Cross who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Betty Strickland of Hanover, Pa.; two sons, Terry Robert Strickland of Hanover and Brandon Lee Strickland of the state of Oklahoma; two stepsons, Jonquenton Cross and Christopher David Cross of Dexter; four brothers, Marvin Dale Strickland of Kennett, Donald Strickland of Risco, Kenny Strickland of Gideon and Bobby Strickland of Puxico; and two grandchildren.

Memorial services were held today at the Faith Fellowship Church in Dexter with Bonnie Cannell of Dexter officiating.

The Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Dexter was in charge of arrangements.
