SIKESTON -- Mary Ross McDonald, 77, formerly of Haywood City, died April 12, 2012.
Born June 2, 1934, in Clarksdale, Miss., to the late Willie and Sally Benford Johnson, she was a former foster parent for the state of Missouri and of the Pentecostal belief.
Survivors include: one son, Charles Ross of Springfield; two daughters, Keisha Ross and Sharon Ross of Springfield; one stepdaughter, Geraldine King of Battle Creek, Mich.; one daughter-in-law, Delores Johnson of Oakland, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from noon until time of services at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Christ Sanctuary Church of God in Christ with the Rev. Melvin Williams officiating.
Burial will follow in J.C. Pullen Memorial Cemetery in Bell City with the Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston in charge of arrangements.
