CARUTHERSVILLE -- A New Madrid man was sentenced to 35 years in prison for a fatal stabbing.
Robert Rooker, 49, was sentenced Thursday to 25 years in the Department of Corrections on a charge of second degree murder in the death of Patrick Bradley by Circuit Judge Fred Copeland. On a charge of armed criminal action, Rooker was sentenced to 10 years in prison with Copeland ordering that sentence to be served consecutively to the first charge.
