Off to the races

Sikeston High School band director Darren Steelman counts the beats as members of the school's marching band rehearse. Sikeston High School band students will march May 3 in the Pegasus Parade during the Kentucky Derby Festival. According to Steelman, the public will get a preview of their performance during a dress rehearsal scheduled for May 1.
