Kasuela Cooper

Charleston

6-0, senior

Brittany Harris

Dexter

5-11, junior

Our Player of the Year, Harris led the young, talented Dexter squad with 16.5 points per game while grabbing 9.4 rebounds with 1.3 blocks per game. She was also efficient around the basket, making over 62 percent of her shots.

Katie Hogan

Scott City

6-2, senior

Karen McGloson

NMCC

SECOND TEAM

E'Neikqua Ewing

Charleston

5-10, junior

Ewing was a terror in the middle for the Lady Bluejays with her strength and ability. The junior scored 17 points per game for Charleston while pulling down 10 rebounds and getting 3 steals per game.

Tyangela Gibson

Sikeston

5-6, senior

Gibson stepped into a leadership role for the Lady Bulldogs and became the team's leading scorer. Her quickness allowed her to get to the rim while her shooting ability kept defenders honest. She was also one of the top defenders for the Lady Bulldogs.

Hannah Noe

Dexter

5-9, sophomore

Just a sophomore, Noe was a key part of the Lady Bearcats success. The guard averaged 11 points per game with 4.4 assists while making 79 percent of her free throws. She also was an accurate outside shooter and made many clutch shots for Dexter.

Paige Patterson

Dexter

6-1, sophomore

Adding strength in the off season, Patterson took her game to another level as a sophomore and became a terror inside for opposing teams. Patterson averaged 11.3 points and grabbed 7.8 rebounds and helped the Lady Bearcats advance to the state quarterfinals.

Machela VanGennip

Delta

5-7, junior

The junior was second on the team in scoring, averaging 14.8 points per game. Often a focal point of the other team's defense, VanGennip was adept at passing the ball to open teammates while being the team's best ballhandler.

THIRD TEAM

Keyonna Blissett

Sikeston

5-5, senior

Blissett was a force on the defensive end for the Lady Bulldogs before missing the latter part of the season with a knee injury. She returned late in the fourth quarter of a district semifinal game to spark a comeback that fell just short against Notre Dame.

Tori Burton

Delta

5-8, senior

Burton led the Lady Bobcats in scoring with 15.5 points per game. Burton could hit the outside shot but also play inside and score in the post. She was a tough rebounder and helped lead Delta to a district title before falling in sectionals to Naylor.

Bridgette Chandler

Kelly

5-6, senior

Chandler was the top scoring option for the Lady Hawks and was a big reason the team improved as the year went on. Chandler often played with poise and led the young Kelly squad by example.

Rebekah Douglas

East Prairie

5-7, sophomore

Douglas did a little bit of everything for the Lady Eagles. She was second on the team in scoring at 13.5 points per game but led the team in rebounds with 7 a game. She also was one of the team's best defenders with 3 steals per game.

Katelynn Frazier

Dexter

5-4, junior

While not a big scorer for the LadyBearcats, Frazier's value is more in leadership and handling the basketball. Frazier, a good defender as well, was Dexter's key ballhandler when they faced a press and the junior was skilled at hitting the open teammate in stride for the shot.
