Six arrested for property damage

PORTAGEVILLE -- Authorities have arrested six individuals in Pemiscot County for property damage following a report of from a local farm operation.

According to Pemiscot County Sheriff Tommy Greenwell, Pemiscot County deputies and Bootheel Drug Task Force agents arrested the six individuals late Thursday afternoon for property damage.

Deputies were called to Rone Farms, south of Portageville early Thursday morning where it was learned sometime during the early or late evening hours Wednesday night, vehicles created ruts to a planted bean field resulting in approximately $4,000 in damage.
