CHAFFEE -- Dixie Jewell Brock Yount, 86, died May 16, 2012, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born April 7, 1926, in Parma, to the late Walter and Florence Walker Brock, she was a member of Arbor General Baptist Church.
On Sept. 3, 1943, she married Vyron Yount who preceded her in death on April 23, 2012.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Luther Brock, Stanley Brock and Kenneth Brock.
Survivors include: two daughters and a son-in-law, Glynnis and Keith Kunzler of Arnold and Lynnette Parker of Florissant; one sister, Hazel Williams Canny of Houston, Texas; and four grandchildren, Kristin Mugg of Denver, Jeffry Parker of Florissant, Kecia Howell of Greenway, Ark., and Shay Dahl of Dallas.
Visitation is scheduled at 4 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Kermit Patton officiating.
Burial will follow at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
