SIKESTON -- Law enforcement officials are reminding motorists and boaters to practice safety and responsibility as they travel this Memorial Day weekend and throughout the summer.
"Our roadways have been pretty busy these past couple years anyway because people have cut back on taking bigger trips and traveling by plane," said Trooper Clark D. Parrott, public information officer for Troop E of the Missouri State Highway Patrol. "Make sure your vehicle is up to the challenge -- whether traveling across the state or across country."
