BLOOMFIELD -- Clarence Taylor, 97, died May 25, 2012, at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield.
Born Nov. 17, 1914, in Bloomfield, to the late Harry and Isa Link Taylor, he had lived in Bloomfield all of his life, where he was a member of the First Baptist Church. He had been the area supervisor for the local St. Louis Post Dispatch delivery.
Survivors include: one daughter, Dorothy Pulley of Bloomfield; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Blanche Howard; and three brothers, Howard Taylor, Vernon Taylor and Jimmie Taylor.
Visitation is from 9 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Kevin Eskew of Bloomfield officiating.
Burial will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
