Linda Sadler

WAPPAPELLO -- Linda Jane Sadler, 60, formerly of Chaffee, died July 20, 2012, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Born Nov. 27, 1951, in Chaffee, to Maureen Barlow Sadler of Chaffee and the late Edward "Cotton" Sadler, she was a peer counselor at Family Counseling Center in Poplar Bluff.

In addition to her mother, survivors include: two sons, Tony Matthews of Little Elm, Texas and Bobby Matthews of Bad Breisag, Germany; one daughter, Stephanie Hatley of Hayti; three brothers, Danny Sadler, Herman Sadler and Eddie Sadler of Chaffee; two sisters, Jo Ann Hunter of East Cape, Ill., and Cathy Miskell of Cape Girardeau; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Jim Bevel of Wappapello.

She was preceded in death by one stepson, Mark Johnson.

Visitation is after 4 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Wes Tayloe officiating.

Burial will follow at New Tucker Cemetery in Campbell.
