EAST PRAIRIE -- Hilda A. Hardison, 80, died at 3:20 p.m. July 28, 2012, in the East Prairie Nursing Center.
Born Aug. 16, 1931, in New Madrid County, to the late Leroy and Ethelyne Haynes Bisher, she lived in East Prairie most of her life and was of the Protestant belief.
On Aug. 12, 1967, she married Robert Hardison who preceded her in death.
One brother, Jack Bisher, one sister, Sheila Copeland, and one infant daughter also preceded in death.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Quinton and Catrina Barger of Rochester, Ind.; five daughters and one son-in-law, Darlene Hancock of Gary, Ind., Stella and Doc Williams and Terri Barger of East Prairie and Wanda Howard and Ruth Horn of Portage, Ind.; one brother, Bud Bisher of East Prairie; three sisters, Phyllis Bonner of Abilene, Texas, and Shirley Barger and Maxine Haney of East Prairie; and 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled after 6 p.m. today at the at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Mike Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
