DEXTER -- Martha J. Boyles, 88, died July 29, 2012, at her daughter's home in Dexter.
Born March 31, 1924, in Oakland, Ark., to the late Abe and Sarah Welch Malonee, she lived in the Dexter and Essex areas most of her life. She attended the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter and had worked as an inspector in a hat factory for over 20 years.
She married Ransom Boyles who preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Eddie James Boyles and Johnny Boyles , and one brother and two sisters.
Survivors include: one son, William Boyles of Bloomfield; one daughter, Shirley Culverhouse of Dexter; and nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. today at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Tim Russell of Dexter officiating.
Burial will follow in Taylor Cemetery in Essex.
