HAYWARD -- Michael "Red" Roberts, 56, died Aug. 7, 2012, at his home.
Born July 3, 1956, in Peoria, Ill., to Patsy Nowell Roberts of Portageville and the late Hallie T. Roberts, he had worked for the SEMO Tank and Baker Implement Co.
In addition to his mother, survivors include: one son, Michael Roberts of San Francisco; four brothers, Larry Roberts of Buena Vista, Texas, Gary Roberts and Daniel Roberts of Portageville and Jeffrey Roberts of Newbern, Tenn.; and three sisters, Sandy Schrage of League City, Texas, Kandice Canoy of Kennett and Janice Walters of Portageville.
In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Jamie Lee Roberts.
Services were conducted today at the DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville with the Rev. Dr. Buck Morton officiating.
Burial followed in the Portageville Cemetery.
