EAST PRAIRIE - The Dorena-Hickman Ferry resumed operation Wednesday. The ferry has been closed since the morning of June 23 due to low water on the Mississippi River.
According to Captain Ed Floyd recent dredging of the Hickman Harbor allowed the ferry to access the Kentucky landing at current water levels.
