Judith Hines

SIKESTON -- Judith Ann Hines, 73, passed away Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, at her daughter's home in Cape Girardeau.

Born Oct. 3, 1938, in Cleveland, to Edward and Rosina Liebman Klammer, she was the best mother and grandmother to her daughters and grandchildren. "Granny Pants" loved to spend time with her grandchildren as often as possible. A Girl Scout leader and Day Camp assistant for many years for both of her daughters' Girl Scout troops, she enjoyed bowling in different leagues and made lasting friendships along the way. Judy worked as a dental assistant many years in Sikeston at the offices of Dr. David Tongate and Dr. Wendell Weathers. She always treasured visits by her closest and dearest friends.

Loving survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Andrea and Joe Honkomp of St. Peters and Tina and Larry Hagan of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren, Katherine Hunsel and Alexander Hunsel of St. Peters and Emily Hagan of Cape Girardeau; and a sister, Debbie Crane of Euclid, Ohio.

In addition to her her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Ed Klammer.

Arrangements are at the McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
