J.W. Bizzell

SIKESTON -- J.W. Bizzell, 80, died Aug. 12, 2012, at his home.

Born Oct. 1, 1931, in Conway, Ark., to the late John Wesley and Effie Hillis Bizzell, he was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of the First Baptist Church in Sikeston.

On Oct. 9, 1951, in Piggott, Ark., he married Veda Glodine Bean who preceded him in death on Aug. 19, 1990.

He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Arkie Looney, Jean Hayes and Johnnie Jones, and two brothers, Lonnie Bizzell and Woodrow Bizzell.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald Keith and Gloria Bizzell of Foley, Ala.; one daughter and son-in-law, Debra Renee and Dan Riley of Cape Girardeau; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden with the Rev. Mark Thrasher officiating.

Burial will follow in the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton.
