Noble Milam
BENTON -- Noble Milam, 73, died Aug. 15, 2012, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born Nov. 18, 1938, in Stokes, Ark., to the late Robert Hugh and Mavis Irene Mayfield Milam Sr., he was a carpenter and a member of the Morley Baptist Church in Morley.
On June 20, 1959, in Morley, he married Elizabeth L. "Betty" Penrose who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: a son and daughter-in-law, Noble and Tami Milam Jr. of Patterson; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Kurt Kramer of Lancaster, S.C., and Tina and Mike Johnson of West Plains; a brother, Ronald Milam of Dierks, Ark.; and seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Rodney Allen, in 1978, and by a brother, Robert Hugh Milam Jr.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Benton where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. David Thompson officiating.
Burial will be in Unity Baptist Cemetery in Benton.
