Sikeston seventh graders tie, eighth grade beats Kennett, 30-12

KENNETT -- The Sikeston Bulldogs seventh grade football team traveled to kennett on Thursday and fought the Indians to a 14-14 tie.

Building a 14-0 lead, Sikeston saw Kennett score 14 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to knot things up at the end of regulation. With no overtime in middle school football the game ended in a tie.

On the eighth-grade side the Bulldogs had a bit more luck as they routed the Indians 30-12.
